Shannon Steinacker is a native Houstonian who recently moved to Santa Fe, NM for a little adventure before finishing her degree in Anthropology. She is in a constant search of the best version of herself and her next favorite picture.

What does mobile photography mean to you?

Originally, it didn’t mean much to me. There’s only so much control you have over a picture you take on your phone, and that was always frustrating to me. I could never get the picture I wanted. Once I heard about PicTapGo that all changed. I can take my phone pictures and manipulate them into the images that I want with cool filters and options to edit lighting and contrast. But mainly, mobile photography means lots and lots of cat pictures….

What is your favorite PicTapGo feature?

My favorite thing about PicTapGo is that it gives me the tools that I need to edit my pictures and still feel like the picture is mine when I’m done editing it. A lot of apps out there seem to take your picture and turn it into their ‘look’ or the current trend. I enjoy seeing diversity in my pictures. I also love how quick PicTapGo is, I mean, hint’s in the name. I can take a pic and edit it without it taking up all my time. My favorite filters are High Fives, Sweet Tooth, Montecito and Loft.
