I am a photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in wedding and portrait photography. On the side, I enjoy stories, art history, and kayaking. My favourite subjects are my dog, Hugo Bos, and my beautiful Fiancé @justinhiebert . Join me on my journey at @jennabos !
What does mobile photography mean to you?
Mobile photography means capturing the rarest, sweetest, most candid, and innocent moments of day-to-day life. It means making room for the ordinary, and transforming quiet moments into beautiful, noticeable moments that are worth honouring. For me, mobile photography has forced me into a space to look at the world in terms of light, line, and object - personally, it has changed picture taking into art making.
What is your favorite PicTapGo feature?
When I tell my friends to get the PicTapGo app, I tell them to because it makes sense. I have dozens of editing apps on my phone, and this one is definitely in my top 3. The simple interface has a wide variety of filters and unlike many other photo editing apps, PicTapGo allows you to layer the filters. I love browsing through PicTapGo photos of other Instagram users because none of the photos are overly filtered. The app allows you to make small changes to shadows and tint, without turning skin orange, or boosting grain through the roof. The app is simple, clean, easy to use, and incredibly effective! My favourite filters have got to be High Fives, Skinny Jeans Awake, and Pier Pressure - the tones are just unreal!
