On this day every year our thoughts turn to the incredible city of New York. For today’s PicTapFeatured we’ve chosen Eljay Aguillo, InstaManhattan, his images paint a gorgeous portrait of one of the world’s greatest cities.

What does mobile photography mean to you?

Well, at first it was a way to express my thoughts in the moment. Even though I sometimes feel a shot is a good or even great shot, I have to feel a moment. Just like here in New York City, before I even had Instagram: everything I did here in this city I had to do because it felt right at the moment. That’s what mobile photography means to me. It’s the best way to share your thoughts without having to express it in words at that exact second.
